Founded Heritage Insures an independent marketing organization (IMO) - that has contracts with insurance companies to perform distribution, of insurance products or product lines. Founded the largest minority owned personal staffing firm in the South (Best Staff), with offices located in Houston, Dallas, Beaumont, Orlando, Atlanta, and Baltimore. Became Coca' Cola largest minority vendor in the company’s history.
Co-Founded the largest minority owned Property Management firm (BTS Team), in the United States, that managed homes for Housing and Urban
Development (HUD). BTS Team managed over 5,000 properties in 15 states.
Co-Founded a National Facilities Maintenance Company (Services Everywhere). Services Everywhere provided a national footprint for companies who wanted one vendor to provide all their maintenance needs throughout the United States. Clients included: Washington Mutual, Bank of America, Key Bank, Wachovia Bank, CB Richard Ellis, and Trammell Crow. Board Member and part owner of Protectors Insurance agency, and Blue Bird Logistics company.

Also, Harris Of Houston operated five (5) retail stores of its own with locations in Houston, Corpus Christi, Brownsville, McAllen,
